  • One-on-one sessions with a counselor. May be useful for career challenges, depression and/or anxiety, working through grief, substance abuse, and more.

  • Therapy used to improve you and your partner’s relationship and rebuild your connection. Useful for relationship conflicts such as feelings of disconnect, affairs, or issues relating to sex.

  • A focus on maintaining healthy and functional familial relationships. Useful for strengthening a connection within a family, building a bond between parent and child, establishing healthy boundaries, and improving communication.

  • Focusing on guiding you toward your ultimate goals. A life coach will connect with you to help you achieve your goals, overcome challenges, and make changes in your life to reach fulfillment.

  • EMDR, also known as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, encourages patients to focus on a traumatic memory while experiencing bilateral stimulation. This method is associated with a reduction in emotional response to the traumatic memory.

  • Stephanie specializes in a wide range of topics, including depression, PTSD, parenting, substance abuse, divorce, domestic violence, and more.

At Perfectly Imperfect LLC, we are a team of passionate, trauma-informed professionals committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and self-acceptance. Founded by Stephanie Staggs, MA, LPC, NCC, EMDR, and joined by Co-Founder Michelle O’Flynn, MA, LPC, NCC, EMDR, our team brings a wealth of experience in supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging moments. Each of us believes in the power of authenticity, connection, and embracing the beautifully imperfect parts of ourselves. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or personal growth, we offer a safe, compassionate space via Telehealth—where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’re here to help you reclaim your story and move forward with purpose. We offer counseling in Louisiana and Texas and Life Coaching nationwide.

  • Founder

    With a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and over ten years of coaching experience, Stephanie Staggs (she/hers) specializes in guiding patients through PTSD, overcoming addiction, family and relationship counseling, and more. She has previously worked with both children and adults in various levels of need. Stephanie is EMDR trained and uses an eclectic approach to find the best course of action for her patient.

    She is a firm believer that we are all perfectly imperfect. Difficult times arise for everybody, and we often find ourselves in need of support and guidance. Stephanie meets clients where they are and helps them begin a journey of self-love, compassion, and motivation. She is determined to support her clients on the path to accomplishing their dreams and overcoming their struggles.

    Behind the screen, Stephanie has two well-loved children: a nineteen-year-old daughter, and a fourteen-year-old son with special needs. She enjoys crafts, playing games, and spending time with her family.

  • Cofounder

    Michelle O’Flynn (she/her) is a nationally certified, licensed professional counselor, licensed in Louisiana, offering compassionate, client-centered therapy via telehealth. She is trauma informed and trained in EMDR and other evidence based practices. Michelle has experience working with trauma, substance use, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Michelle creates a safe and respectful space where individuals can explore their lived experiences without judgment.

    Her therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in empathy, adaptability, and a belief in the power of progress not perfection. Michelle tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients, empowering them to develop coping strategies, build resilience, and move toward self-sufficiency. “My goal in therapy is to work myself out of a job.” She views her role not just as a guide, but as a partner in helping clients navigate life’s most difficult seasons.

    Michelle is also committed to ethical practice, cultural competence, LBGTQIA+ advocacy, acceptance and understanding. As a part of the LBGTQIA+ community herself, she provides a safe therapeutic space for clients to feel heard, seen and respected.
